Lost 'Speaker'
My first ever game for a game jam!
A short visual novel about a strange merperson barging into a lonesome detective's office, pleading for help to find a speaker they claim is a family heirloom
It includes four endings!
Thanks to my friend @justanotherlilann on instagram for helping out with the sprites. They would've been not done in time otherwise
(Fair warning, this is a first game so don't expect it to be hands down, mind blowing. It works at the very least)
10/2/2026 - I made a small edit to the audio, nothing else. Not entirely sure if that is against the rules of the jam but it was bothering me so much how it looped

ok i have stopped freaking out heres a more in-depth review-
the merperson is amazing and perfect and i love them and also i wanna give them a hug but also kinda wanna punch them which is the perfect combination imo
THE STORY??? HELLOO????? i adoooooreeee the worldbuilding sprinkled here and there that really give the illusion of a bigger universe other than the small office
i said it before and ill say it again- your artstyle?? ebible. i would like to eat it.
any game where you can eat a person is a good game in my books, really. games should allow you to eat more people.
